A Passion for Physical Images
Printed photographs have always mattered to me, but a few years ago that became unmistakably clear.
At a family gathering, a cousin pulled out old photo albums. Phones were set aside as we gathered around the table. Page by page, familiar faces appeared—some still with us, others long gone. Stories surfaced. There was laughter, and there were moments of quiet.
What stayed with me wasn’t just the images, but the experience of sharing them—holding the album, turning the pages, and being fully present together. That evening reminded me of the power of photographs that exist in the physical world.
